Joy Crookes' voice is smooth as butter

Joy Crookes' just released her new album titled Skin , and when it comes to her voice and lyrics, she really is baring it all. I came across her single, "Trouble," and was blown away by her sound. The 23-year-old has a raspiness like Adele, but a little more raw with a touch of reggae. Once the beat drops, you'll have this song on repeat. It's very catchy and easy to sing along to. The chorus lyrics are really the best: ♪ You’re all that I need... But we break every time (Every time)... Birds of feather fly together... Your trouble’s the same as mine (Mine)♪ Basically she is singing about an on-off relationship that has its ups and downs. That kind of relationship where you get together... then something happens... then you call it off only to find yourself coming back to that one again and again. Joy is definitely an artist to watch, because she is just getting started and has the potential to go mainstream soon.
