Little Boots channels Blondie in new song



Remember the artist Little Boots? If not, then you've been missing out. Her hits include 2009's "Remedy" and 2013's "Broken Record." She is beyond talented, and I feel she is underrated as a music artist. She recently released her video for her single, "Better In The Morning." I REALLY LIKE this song. The beat reminds me of Mariah Carey's "Fantasy," and Little Boots looks and sounds so much like a young Debbie Harry a.k.a Blondie. Take a listen to the song now available to download on iTunes from Little Boots new album Working Girl to be released on July 10.

Sia is giving me some 'Cheap Thrills' with her new dance song

It was just 2 weeks ago that I blogged about Sia's song Move Your Body, and now the singer/songwriter has wowed me again with her song Cheap Thrills . I AM LOVING IT! Not only does it have a great dance beat, but it also has some catchy lyrics. She also enlisted Sean Paul on this track, which reminded me the reason why he was such a hit maker back in the early 2000s. Now remember Sia used to write music for some big artists until she thought, 'Hey I can sing too!' She can really sing anything! I always like to think who she would pick to sing her songs if she couldn't perform them herself, and I can totally hear Gwen Stefani singing this one. Reports say she actually wrote it for Rihanna, but we all know RiRi has gone the more urban and acoustic route for her new album.
