MY REMIX OBSESSION: "Scared To Be Lonely"


Okay, I have been utterly OBSESSED with Martin Garrix's new hit song "Scared To Be Lonely" featuring the awesome vocals of Dua Lipa. But, I'm even MORE OBSESSED with the remixes! Seriously, I've been listening to these three remixes non-stop on my playlist! They each have their own flare and put a different spin on the song, which I love because each remix completely reinvents the sound and feeling of it.

The first is the DubVision Remix, which starts off slow, but gradually adds some trance sounds to it, and by the time it reaches the end of the chorus, the beat goes into full club mode! It's definitely good for the gym and club. Next is the Brooks Remix, which also keeps an uptempo, fun vibe to the song making it ready to bump in the club. And lastly is the Joe Mason Remix, which starts off as acoustic with Dua Lipa's beautiful voice, but then it goes into a slow rock and bass mode and slows the chorus, keeping it chill.

Avicii's 'Waiting for Love' gets awesome remix!

Swedish DJ Avicii had recently released his song "Waiting for Love." Now the remixes to this already awesome track have been released, and I have this one on REPEAT! Sia is giving me some 'Cheap Thrills' with her new dance song

It was just 2 weeks ago that I blogged about Sia's song Move Your Body, and now the singer/songwriter has wowed me again with her song Cheap Thrills . I AM LOVING IT! Not only does it have a great dance beat, but it also has some catchy lyrics. She also enlisted Sean Paul on this track, which reminded me the reason why he was such a hit maker back in the early 2000s. Now remember Sia used to write music for some big artists until she thought, 'Hey I can sing too!' She can really sing anything! I always like to think who she would pick to sing her songs if she couldn't perform them herself, and I can totally hear Gwen Stefani singing this one. Reports say she actually wrote it for Rihanna, but we all know RiRi has gone the more urban and acoustic route for her new album.
