My first visit to Torrey Pines


Since I moved to San Diego 3 months ago, I've been dying to go on an outdoor hike. A few people recommended I go to Torrey Pines, and I must admit, it was so beautiful! I loved how the mountains overlooked the beach and the ocean in the distance. As I descended down the bluffs, I could see the blue ocean getting closer until at last I made it! It truly felt like I was in paradise. I would love to go back and hike more trails in the near future. Here are a few pictures from my first visit.

"Hot Pursuit" was a mildly funny ride

Hot Pursuit is the latest film to star a dynamic duo of two female stars. Reese Witherspoon plays a tense cop who goes by the name Cooper and has the likes and respect of Barney Fife from The Andy Griffith Show . But she is not respected by her fellow police officers because of a taser mishap that happened with her and the mayor's son. She finally gets a chance to prove herself when her captain asks her to protect Daniella Rivas (played by Sofia Vergara), a witness to the crimes committed by a dangerous drug cartel. Her testimony could put the cartel's leader away in prison for good. But things take an unexpected turn when Cooper arrives at Rivas' house and both her partner and Rivas husband are gunned down.
