The Wedding Ringer (movie review)



Tonight, I went to watch 'The Wedding Ringer,' and I must say it was HILARIOUS!!! Now, I have to be honest, this is not the movie you should take the family to or go with your parents to see. There was a lot of crude humor, but it's definitely a movie to go with your friends for a good laugh. Here's the best way I would describe it, it's 'Bridesmaids' but with men with a mix of 'The Hangover.' Kevin Hart does what he does best...comedy. Josh Gad is awkward, but refreshingly funny all at the same time. This duo is the perfect pair for some comic relief. One of my most favorite scenes is when they pull off a variety of dance moves together at a wedding. They can move!

This movie is also a good date movie. Men and women will like it. Again, it is rated R, so please make sure you are the appropriate age before you consider seeing this film. And if you are easily offended, then you may want to skip out on this one.

All in all, 'The Wedding Ringer' also had some surprising life lessons that will make you a little emotional. It's about everlasting friendship and what a 'friend' means to us all. So go out get your ticket and GO SEE IT! I give this one a 3.8 out of 5 :) CHECK OUT THE TRAILER BELOW!!!

Sia is giving me some 'Cheap Thrills' with her new dance song

It was just 2 weeks ago that I blogged about Sia's song Move Your Body, and now the singer/songwriter has wowed me again with her song Cheap Thrills . I AM LOVING IT! Not only does it have a great dance beat, but it also has some catchy lyrics. She also enlisted Sean Paul on this track, which reminded me the reason why he was such a hit maker back in the early 2000s. Now remember Sia used to write music for some big artists until she thought, 'Hey I can sing too!' She can really sing anything! I always like to think who she would pick to sing her songs if she couldn't perform them herself, and I can totally hear Gwen Stefani singing this one. Reports say she actually wrote it for Rihanna, but we all know RiRi has gone the more urban and acoustic route for her new album.
