As summer dwindles away, there's still some time to enjoy some amazing dance music in the sun by the beach or the pool. With that being said, Dropout is a new dance group composed of three guys; Ethan Davis, Ray Nowak, and Selden Cummings. They recently dropped the remixes to their single, "Slowly" on iTunes . The "Festival Mix" is by far my favorite (LISTEN BELOW). It starts off slow (no pun intended) with their vocals, but then once the hook builds, the amazing euphoric club beat drops. This is definitely one you want to download for your Labor Day weekend. I can't wait to hear what else this group has in store for us in the future. New artist Grace is paying homage to classic pop songstress Lesley Gore by remixing her hit, "You Don't Own Me." With a modern beat and hook, the song also feature rapper G-Eazy. I'm absolutely loving this take on Gore's classic hit. Grace almost sounds exactly like her! Check out the video below along with Gore's original 1963 video for the song below. It's old school meets new school. Both versions are available on iTunes to download.

We all remember JoJo when she released her hit single, "Leave (Get Out)" at just 13 years old. After years of being away from the music scene and having trouble sustaining her pop career, JoJo is back and proves she has grown into a young woman at 24. She recently released 3 singles, in what she calls a "tringle," on iTunes. My favorite song of the 3 is titled "When Love Hurts." It really shows off JoJo's powerful voice, and trust me, it has only gotten better with age. From the moment the song begins, you know it's going to be good!!! I can definitely hear this one on the radio and in clubs everywhere. Take a listen below and judge for yourself. Swedish DJ Avicii had recently released his song "Waiting for Love." Now the remixes to this already awesome track have been released, and I have this one on REPEAT! The "Waiting for Love (Carnage & Headhunterz Remix)" blends the vocals perfectly to a hard-pounding dance beat that gives you a rave feel. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS REMIX! Galantis is one awesome dance duo! They're seriously one of my favorite artists right now. I have been obsessed with their song "Gold Dust" off their new album Pharmacy . The whole album is amazing, and this track stands out among many. It starts with a calm beat that progresses to an upbeat tempo that will have you waving your hands and moving your feet in no time. Well folks Flo Rida has done it again! He has the perfect combination of dance and hip hop with the remix to his new song "I Don't Like It, I Love It (Noodles Remix)." It also features the smooth vocals of RnB artist Robin Thicke. This one has a beat that I'm sure we'll hear in the clubs this summer. It's also a great workout song. It's been 8 years since former Disney star Hilary Duff released her last music album. Since then, she has endured a lot and grown up quite a bit. Now at 28, she is a single mother who also went through a divorce. Her new album Breathe In. Breathe Out. is AMAZING! I'm honestly going to say so far, it's the BEST POP ALBUM released this year. I can see almost every song being a hit. "Arms Around a Memory" is one of my favorite track on the album. It's got a great dance beat, and the lyrics show a breakup in progress. Remember the artist Little Boots? If not, then you've been missing out. Her hits include 2009's "Remedy" and 2013's "Broken Record." She is beyond talented, and I feel she is underrated as a music artist. She recently released her video for her single, "Better In The Morning." I REALLY LIKE this song. The beat reminds me of Mariah Carey's "Fantasy," and Little Boots looks and sounds so much like a young Debbie Harry a.k.a Blondie. Demi Lovato's new single, "Cool for the Summer" has just leaked. It's officially set to be released tomorrow (July 1) on iTunes, but it's already all the buzz and rage online. LISTEN TO IT BELOW! It's very fun pop. It reminds me of something Katy Perry would sing, but Demi works it out flawlessly. It was also written by producer/writer Max Martin, who also writes for Katy Perry and Britney Spears, so that's probably why it sounds similar. CHECK IT OUT!

THE PARK IS FINALLY OPEN! Yes folks, in the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series, we finally get to see the prehistoric theme park up and running. Now, I am a HUGE fan of the franchise. I was only 6 years-old when Jurassic Park came out, and I will never forget the excitement I felt in the theater when I saw it. I was mesmerized with how the dinosaurs looked and sounded and moved. It was cinema magic right before my very eyes, because there had never been another film like it before. So now fast forward to 23 years later and two sequels to the original film. I've been waiting for this movie, like many others for so long! So once I saw the scene where the doors open to Jurassic World, I felt that same excitement once again and hearing the epic theme song from the original film even boosted that nostalgia. If you liked the scary imagery and jumps the first two Insidious films delivered, then you'll enjoy Insidious: Chapter 3 . The film focuses on a young teen girl named Quinn Brenner (played by Stefanie Scott), who lives in an old apartment complex with her father and little brother. They've all suffered the loss of their mother, whom Quinn believes is trying to contact her from the spirit world. So she goes to visit our favorite psychic from the first two films, Elise Rainier (played by Lin Shaye). Yes, Elise is alive in this film! It's because it's a prequel to the first two films. Confused yet? Haha. Anyways, Elise is a little apprehensive about helping Quinn, because she swore she wouldn't contact the dead anymore due to the fear of being killed by a demon. If you've ever been to Disneyland, then you know the magic and excitement that Tomorrowland possesses. So you could imagine my excitement when I heard they were making a movie based on it. I, like many, has such high hopes for this film, but sad to say that hope was crushed halfway into watching it. The film focuses on Casey Newton (played by Britt Robertson), a teenage girl, who finds a pin that shows her the future world of Tomorrowland each time she touches it. She is met by a robot who looks like a young girl named Athena. Together, they venture off to find an inventor named Frank (played by George Clooney), who met and fell in love Athena when he was a little boy after he took a trip to Tomorrowland before he was thrown out. All three of them then try to get to Tomorrowland, but their quest becomes difficult, because they are being hunted by androids disguised as humans. When they finally make it to Tomorrowland, Casey realizes the REAL reason why she’...

Finally, after much anticipation we get the sequel to the successfully popular Pitch Perfect . Pitch Perfect 2 is here! And guess what? It doesn't disappoint! All your favorite Bellas from the original cast are back! This time they've been dominating the a cappella group scene in the U.S., that is until an embarrassing mishap takes place while the girls are performing for President Obama (yes, even the President appears in the film). They are suspended and take it upon themselves to regain their crown and dignity back by entering into a global competition. But there is one problem. A German a cappella group is standing in their way and threatens to take everything the girls work so hard for. We find the girls now seniors in college. They are all getting ready to graduate and go into the real world, which scares some and excites others. We really get to see them bond in this movie. Here is my filmed review of the action-comedy Hot Pursuit , and I have a look at the other films in theaters this week: The D Train , Backcountry , Maggie, 5 Flights Up , and Misery Loves Comedy .

Hot Pursuit is the latest film to star a dynamic duo of two female stars. Reese Witherspoon plays a tense cop who goes by the name Cooper and has the likes and respect of Barney Fife from The Andy Griffith Show . But she is not respected by her fellow police officers because of a taser mishap that happened with her and the mayor's son. She finally gets a chance to prove herself when her captain asks her to protect Daniella Rivas (played by Sofia Vergara), a witness to the crimes committed by a dangerous drug cartel. Her testimony could put the cartel's leader away in prison for good. But things take an unexpected turn when Cooper arrives at Rivas' house and both her partner and Rivas husband are gunned down. They soon find themselves running away from the cartel and crooked cops, and to their surprise become the main suspects in the deadly shooting.  So the main question you're probably asking is, "We're these two funny together?" So I got to see the highly-anticipated sequel to the Divergent Series . I have to admit, I had no idea what the series was about, but since I got in on the advanced screening, I decided I better watch the first part, Divergent , to get the scoop on what would be happening. Let's put Insurgent into context before I dive into anything. Friends will betray friends. Families will also turn on each other. Dark secrets will be revealed. And death is inevitable for some characters. One thing I noticed off the bat is that Insurgent was going to be darker than Divergent . It opens with an awful nightmare that Tris Prior (played by Shailene Woodley) is having in the aftermath of her parents deaths. She continues to have these nightmares. She is clearly haunted by them and blames herself throughout the movie, feeling responsible her parents are no longer alive. She has become isolated and tough on the exterior, but is very vulnerable inside. You can see her and Four (played...

I was lucky enough to get an advanced screening of one of Disney's most highly-anticipated movies this year, and let me tell you IT WAS WORTH IT! Cinderella is every bit as charming as the original animated classic, and reintroduces a new generation to the fairytale many of us have come to love. First of all, the cast is AMAZING! Lily James captures the beauty and innocence that Cinderella should embody. Her sweet approach to the character really makes you feel her emotions throughout the movie. Cinderella suffers a lot of tragedy in the film, so that touch and connection with the audience was needed, and James was sure to deliver. You want to reach into the screen and give her a hug and tell her, "It's going to be alright girl." With that being said, Cate Blanchett, who play Cinderella's evil stepmother, is almost too scary good for the part (I mean that in a good way of course...haha). I already called it, "the best dance song so far this year," and now Selena Gomez has released the video for her song I Want You to Know with her DJ boyfriend, Zedd. It shows Selena in various outfits, dancing in a club. For what the song is, I think it's the perfect video, and we all know we'll be dancing in the club to it. However, I would've like to see some interaction with her and Zedd, but who knows, maybe there's a sequel song and video that will show that. Anyways, WATCH IT BELOW & ENJOY!

This song is my jam!!! Seriously, I workout to it, play it loud in my car, and get ready in the mornings to it. Like his previous hit,  Heroes (feat. Tove Lo), renowned DJ, Alesso has done it again mixing his beats with some awesome vocals. This time he has featured Swedish singer/songwriter Roy English. The beat may sound familiar to you, because it samples Australian pop superstar Kylie Minogue's 2010 worldwide hit, Get Outta My Way , which is pretty amazing in itself and one of my favorite songs ever. So this song, for me, it has revived the love I have for the original. Roy's voice is so smooth and very relaxing to listen to, but make no mistake Alesso lets you know as the song progresses and the beat drops that this IS A DANCE SONG! I really enjoy the video too.
